Be Yourself

I was guided by spirit to write about how to be yourself. I see a lot of clients that are afraid to do that in fear of judgement, being taken advantage of etc.

Get to know yourself and do the things that make you happy. Our beliefs about who we are go all the way to childhood. Let go of negative self-talk and limiting beliefs of what you think you are capable of.

Know and focus on your strengths, stop living in the past, stop caring about what others think. Be open to change, be vulnerable, express yourself.

Take yourself out of your comfort zone, take chances in life. And always trust your gut feelings, your intuition.

Too many of us try to fit in and change who we are for others, this never works long term. Your friends, family and personal relationships should accept who you are. We are all different for a reason.

Oscar Wilde once said with his usual wit: "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken". As humorous as this might seem, it's a basic summary of the truth. Yet, you can't be yourself if you don't know, understand, and accept yourself first.
