7 Weeks In

I hope you are well and getting through these weeks of lockdown. We are now 7 weeks in, and I wanted you to ask yourselves what have you achieved in these 7 weeks? I am looking at it as a positive. When I sat wrote down all the things I have achieved I felt very proud of myself and I challenge you to do the same.

So here are all of the things I have achieved and I had to sit and think about it as some things can be so small but have such a huge impact.

  1. Getting to grips with technology more and providing all my readings online and working with some new Hypnotherapy clients online, which works just the same as if you were in my office.

  2. Having 7 weeks with just me and my husband Paul, now some of you may have struggled with this, but I can honestly say I have enjoyed all our walks, talks, TV time together, cooking, BBQ’s, just waking up together, as he is normally out of the house for work before I get up! Its the first time in 33 years we have had a solid 7 weeks together in which I am grateful.

  3. Baking!! I never bake I always thought I couldn’t do it but I have learnt too and made some amazing scones, which I have shared with my family, friends and neighbours, so no longer afraid of baking.

  4. I have written and recorded some meditations and recorded some sound healing baths that are available on my Meditation for Life page on Facebook, you are welcome to join click here

  5. I have enjoyed many hours of conversation, talking to my friends and family on the phone or video calls, catching up with some relatives that I normally would not have time to do.

  6. I sat for 3 hours going through all my old photo’s going right back to when I was little, brought back some great memories of my Dad and laughter of all the great times in my life.

  7. Planted seeds for some new plants for the garden. I have finished 2 paintings and one drawing.

  8. Created my exercise program for me and my husband, who has not done any exercise for years! 

  9. Meditation and mindfulness for myself, even taken up Yoga, online of course!

  10. I have given myself the time to reflect on all that I have achieved over the last 5 years and especially over the last 18 months within my own business. I have help lots of clients to overcome issues with Hypnotherapy, used my Reiki to help heal and my readings to give hope and guidance.

So as you can see there is a lot achieved when you think about it.
